Social without being public
This is a plain-language summary. For the formal document, read the Privacy Policy.
- Adults only. The Service is for people 18 and older.
- Private connections. You connect through a QR code or connection code — not a public directory.
- No public profiles. There is no browsable profile directory.
- No public activities. Activities are shared only with the connections a creator chooses.
- No general in-app messaging. The app doesn’t host a public chat.
- No contact-list uploading. If you link a friend to a phone contact, that stays on your device.
- No continuous GPS tracking. You pick a ZIP-code area; we don’t follow your location.
- Limited attendee visibility. You see the names of people you’re connected to; others may appear only as “+4 others.”
- Exact meeting details are limited to people who have accepted or joined.
- Reporting and blocking are built in, and you can exclude someone from specific activities.
- User-created. Activities are created by users and are not verified or supervised by us.
Come Out and Play does not collect continuous or precise device location. Users select a
ZIP-code-based area that helps identify activities within a broad radius.
