How it works
From “sometime” to out the door
- Create an account. Sign in with your email — no password to remember. We send a secure magic link.
- Confirm you’re 18 or older. Come Out and Play is for adults only.
- Connect with friends. Add people you know using a QR code or a shareable connection code.
- Set a base area. Choose a ZIP-code area and how far you’re willing to travel. Flag the activities you’re up for there.
- Find activities. See activities shared by your connections near your base.
- Create an activity. Pick an activity, time, and broad area, and add details for the people you invite.
- Invite connections. Share it with the right people. Allow a guest only when you choose.
- Join or decline. Say you’re going, or pass — no pressure.
- View exact details after joining. The precise meeting spot is shared only with accepted participants.
- Report, block, leave, or cancel. You stay in control of who you play with and what you join.
Guests
When the activity creator turns it on, a participant may bring a guest. The person bringing the guest coordinates with them directly, and a guest does not automatically become connected to everyone else. Guests appear to people they aren’t connected to only as a count, such as “+2 others,” rather than by name.
